March, Kindergarten Craney, and some warm(er) weather too

While it's been over a month since my last update, I'm disappointed to say that I don't have much new going on over here! I've been getting back into the swing of things for the spring semester, and a heap of new kindergartens have turned me into a "go to bed before midnight, coffee every morning, I'm tired otherwise I'd go to the bar" adult. But I think it's a good thing, a little routine in the schedule makes those early mornings easier to bear. So in no particular order, here are a few photos from the Kindergartens just so you can see what a Boulder-bred hippie/Jesus-looking dude I've become over the winter.

Warmup

Even the biggest, toughest kids in the baby class fear me!
(Notice the boy turned around in his seat)
Workin' those Hammers
Chillin' with the small class.
Middle class with the homie Glenn from my Three Bridges class

Big Class
Usually the kids are stoked, but not today...
Singing some choreographed Chinglish songs as usual

Sign of the apocalypse...McDonalds playhouse at my kindergarten
(And most likely free advertising)
And a classic "poo monster" photo from this evening

The other morning we had a "Colorado-esque" snowstorm; it was a blizzard when I woke at 6:30 and it was sunny and melting when I left my last Kindergarten at noon. I caught a picture of the epic traffic jam it caused in our tiny town on the way to school.

The picture might not do it justice...but it was a hilariously messy traffic jam

Despite being fairly unrelated, here are a few shots from Yixi just to fill in for everything that hasn't been going on.
Despite the frigid temperatures, the fruit markets set up shop year round in these shacks.

Although I haven't eaten at this restaurant, the name "Fat Fat Person" is quite enticing.
There is a health-code (or something) ratings system for restaurants here.
: ) : | : (
I've heard some cash can "help" your rating, but there is always a certain charm that comes from eating at a : | establishment.

Kurtis and Janis took me to a place that has-GASP-real imported German Beer!
Ooooh so much win!
(Most Chinese beer is 3.3% abv and not very tasty)
And after a hard day of teaching Kindergartens, it's always nice to relax!
Gan Bei! (Cheers!)
